GAB Robins Gets China License
NU Online News Service, March 26, 4:15 p.m. EST--Parsippany, N.J.-based GAB Robins Group of Companies said it has received a license to operate in China.[@@]
The claims services firm said the China Insurance Regulatory Commission awarded the company a license to operate in China to market its services to the Chinese insurance industry.
The license, which Robins said is effective immediately, enables the firm to provide a full range of loss adjusting services in China and coincides with the official opening of GAB Robins China Co. Limited. The office is headquartered in Shanghai and includes service centers in Nanjing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Xiamen and Beijing, China.

Limited," said Jun Tsusaka, chairman of the GAB Robins Group of Companies. "The Chinese insurance market offers unparalleled growth opportunities and we are delighted to contribute to its continued development."
The chairperson of GAB Robins China Co. Limited is Lily Li., who served as chief representative of GAB Robins' Representative Office in Beijing since 2000.
Along with China, Robins has locations throughout Asia in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, South Korea, Indonesia, Japan, the Philippines, Pakistan and India.
Robins has affiliated operations in 52 countries. It provides a comprehensive worldwide network of loss adjusting, third-party administration and managed care services.
