PRIMA Elects Cindy Davis President
NU Online News Service, Feb. 25, 10:58 a.m. EST?Cindy Davis of Boulder, Colo., has been elected president of the Public Risk Management Association for 2004-2005, the group announced.[@@]
The Arlington, Va.-based organization said its voting membership also selected Sarah Stevenson of Oregon and Joseph Peckham of New York to its board of directors.
Ms. Davis is the risk management director for the University of Colorado at Boulder. She has worked for CU since 1999 and previously served as the university's safety and health manager.
PRIMA said Ms. Davis' plans for the group include the redevelopment of PRIMA's risk management manual.
Ms. Stevenson is risk manager for Marion County, Ore. She has been active in the Oregon PRIMA chapter since 1990 and currently is its treasurer.
Mr. Peckham is risk and insurance manager for Broome County, N.Y.
