Identity Systems provides online and batch search, match and screening as well as duplicate and relationship discovery for all types of identification data stored in relational databases, said Greenwich, Conn.-based SSA.

"@First helps insurers combat fraud by identifying suspicious claims when they are initially submitted and forwarding them to insurers' special investigation units," said SSA.

Data about a claim is matched against the organization's historical claimant and special investigation unit data, external industry data, and Office of Foreign Assets Control postings and other sanctioned lists.

"@First combines the identity search and matching strengths of IDS with multiple analytical and modeling tools to speed resolution of valid claims and increase adjuster and investigator productivity," the company said.

Embedding the identity search software within @First enables CSC's larger clients to process their high search volumes while supporting a wide variety of data sources for identity searching, according to Ray August, president of the p-c division of CSC's Financial Services Group., based in El Segundo, Calif.

CSC is a global information technology company that provides systems integration and design, business process outsourcing, software development, Web and application hosting, and management consulting.

SSA is a division of SPL WorldGroup. It develops and markets international software products that enhance an organization's ability to manage group identity data within their computer systems and network databases.
