Guaranty Insurance Acquires TCT Insurance
NU Online News Service, Feb. 25, 1:18 p.m. ESTFormed in 1998, TCT Insurance is made up of three Dallas area insurance agencies: the McCall Agency of Plano, founded in 1898; the LJK Insurance Agency in North Dallas; and The Bailey-Thompson Insurance Agency of Garland, Texas.
The announcement of the transaction noted that TCT has revenues of more than $7 million, with more than 8,500 personal and corporate clients and a staff of 50.
Brook Crawford, TCT's president, will manage Guaranty's Dallas insurance operations.
Guaranty Insurance Services, a member of Guaranty Financial Services, operates seven offices in Texas and the greater Los Angeles areas. The firm has reported revenue of more than $50 million. Its core business includes retail property-casualty insurance, risk management, annuity brokerage, and life and health insurance.
