B&B Acquires Doyle Consulting Group
NU Online News Service, Feb. 2, 3:52 p.m. EST?Insurance broker Brown & Brown said its Delaware subsidiary has acquired Doyle Consulting Group Inc. and Doyle Consulting Group of New Jersey Inc.
Financial terms of the agreement, which became effective yesterday, were not disclosed.
Doyle Consulting, located in Philadelphia and Woodbridge, N.J., is engaged primarily in the specialized insurance arena of benefit plan consulting and related services.
Doyle, with total annualized revenues of approximately $6.5 million, serves the employee benefits needs of clients throughout the greater Delaware Valley region, said Brown & Brown, Daytona Beach, Fla.
Francis L. "Frank" Doyle, chief executive officer of Doyle Consulting, will become a member of Brown & Brown's executive committee, and he will continue as profit center manager. The current locations will continue as freestanding Brown & Brown offices.
