Combined Agents Of America Expands

The Austin, Texas-based MGA said the insurance agency of Benton-Luttrell-Brown Company was added to its list of independent agencies in the state.

Benton-Luttrell-Brown was founded in 1890 in Van Alstyne, Texas. It now operates in both Van Alstyne and Sherman, Texas.

The agency has three principals, William D. Benton, Roger B. Luttrell and Harold C. Brown. It offers insurance programs through a number of insurance carriers.

"Joining CAA will strengthen our position in the market as an independent agent and allow us to have accessibility to the finest insurance carriers in the country," said Mr. Luttrell, president of Benton-Luttrell-Brown. "Gaining access to additional insurance markets will benefit our customers with significantly more competitive rates and products."

Founded in 1997, Combined Agents of America, a member's only MGA cluster, has generated more than $300 million in property-casualty premiums.
