Captives Conference Set For March 14-16

CICA said in past years the event has attracted hundreds of leaders in the captive, risk retention and alternative risk financing markets.
CICA said the captive industry has been extremely active, with captives and risk retention groups forming at a brisk pace, and captive domiciles devoting increasing resources to marketing and expansion as well as analyzing the impact of recent legislation and tax issues.
The conference features sessions on assessing captive needs, tax strategies, rating a captive or risk retention group, captive redomestication, fronting and risk sharing, reinsurance support for captives, letters of credit, health care malpractice, and the use of technology in the alternative risk financing arena, CICA said.
