Travelers Develops Comp Incident E-Notice
NU Online News Service, Dec. 11, 4:00 p.m. EST?Hartford, Conn.-based Travelers Property Casualty Corp. has introduced an electronic Claim Alerts system that quickly notifies workers' compensation policyholders of claim events.[@@]
Under the new system, risk managers receive major event notifications of claims by e-mail, pager or a hand-held message device. Risk managers receive immediate access to the claim detail through this new system.
The alerts give access to information on reserve changes and large indemnity payments, and notification of fatal or catastrophic injury, denied claims and return-to-work status.
The link is available to Travelers' Claim Management System, allowing access to full claim details, subject to applicable privacy laws.
Injured workers have immediate and real-time access to their particular claim information at www.mywcinfo.com, in both Spanish and English.
