Gallagher Acquires Avery-Hammer

Founded in 1980, Avery-Hammer Insurance Associates Inc. is a full-service retail insurance broker offering risk management and commercial property-casualty insurance services. The firm specializes in insurance products for higher education institutions and non-profit organizations in California.
William Avery and his staff will continue to operate in their Fresno location under the direction of James McFarlane, West Coast regional manager of Gallagher's Brokerage Services Division-Retail.
