Heath Lambert Chief Leaves
NU Online News Service, Nov. 12, 8:52 a.m. EST?Insurance broker Heath Lambert Group, based in London, said its chief executive, David Margrett, has left the firm's management team as the company undergoes a financial restructuring.
In a statement, the broker said its chairman, Ian Martin, has assumed the role of executive chairman for the firm.
Mr. Margrett "has stepped down from active involvement in the management of the company," the firm said.
Adrian Colosso was named managing director for the United Kingdom. Mr. Colosso, Mike Bruce, U.K. chief operating officer, and Surinder Beerh, managing director for overseas, would assume greater responsibility for day-to-day management of the business.
Richard Sansom will continue in his role as Finance Director.
"These changes, combined with a capital restructuring, mark a new phase in the development of the business and this will allow us to develop the Group as a major independent force in the international insurance broking market," Mr. Martin said. "All the ingredients are in place and we are fortunate to be supported by a team of people of the highest quality."
