Wilcox Named Prez At Pilgrim Outsource Firm
NU Online News Service, Oct.1, 12:15 p.m. EDT?Ellen Wilcox has been named president of Pilgrim, a business process outsourcing subsidiary of Pilgrim Insurance Company in Boston.
Ms. Wilcox is a 25-year veteran of the insurance industry. She joined Pilgrim in May of 2003 as executive vice president.
Hal Belodoff, chairman of Pilgrim Insurance Company, said Ms. Wilcox as president "will focus her efforts on the daily operations with special emphasis on the development of new service opportunities and fostering best practices for Pilgrim's customers, property and casualty insurers." Ms. Wilcox, he said, has a record of successfully building, leading and growing companies.
Before joining Pilgrim, Ms. Wilcox was president of ES Wilcox and Associates, a strategy and technology consulting service to the property and casualty insurance industry. Prior to that, she was president and CEO of ClaimPlace, an e-marketplace for property and casualty claim services.
Pilgrim provides insurance expertise and turnkey outsourcing solutions in the areas of underwriting, claims, agency management, billing and customer service for the private passenger and commercial automobile insurance business.
