AMS Acquires Rackley Systems
NU Online News Service, Oct. 27, 11:09 a.m. EST?AMS Group announced today that it has acquired Pulaski, Tenn.-based Rackley Systems Inc., a provider of commercial and personal lines rating products and services for independent agents, insurance carriers and managing general agents.
AMS, based in Windsor, Conn., said the two would combine their existing rating operations into a single entity providing commercial lines rating solutions in fifty states, as well as in Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico. On the personal lines side, the combined business would cover 36 states.
AMS said that the new organization is to be called AMS-Rackley and will be led by Salil Donde, who is currently the general manager for AMS Rating.
Donnie Moore, president and chief executive officer of Rackley, will assume a senior role at AMS and report to Mr. Donde, said AMS.
AMS provides technology services throughout the insurance industry.
