Allstate Names New Chief Marketing Officer
NU Online News Service, Oct. 8, 11:11 a.m. EDT?Joseph V. Tripodi was named senior vice president and chief marketing officer for Northbrook, Ill.-based Allstate Insurance Co.
Mr. Tripodi, 48, will take over his new post effective Nov. 3, the company said.
Prior to joining The Bank of New York, Mr. Tripodi served as chief marketing officer of Seagram Spirits & Wine Group from 1999 to 2002. He was executive vice president for global marketing for MasterCard International from 1989 to 1998. He was with Mobil Oil from 1981 to 1988. He began his career in marketing with IBM in 1977.
