IIABA Renews Partnership With Caliper
NU Online News Service, Sept. 8, 1:23 p.m. EDT?Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America said it has renewed its partnership with Caliper, a Princeton, N.J.-based human resources consultancy, to offer exclusive deals on Caliper services to IIABA's member agencies and brokerages.
The new agreement extends the 30-year business relationship between IIABA and Caliper, according to the Alexandria, Va.-based trade association.
Under the new agreement, Caliper will offer through Big "I" Advantage--a products/services unit of IIABA--exclusive discounts on various human resources products, including assessment services, employee and team performance services, and retention analysis.
IIABA said its Big "I" Advantage will also team up with Caliper to develop a new online course. This course, the group noted, will provide agents and brokers a tutorial on managing human resources issues in their agencies and brokerage firms.
Additionally, the agreement will maintain IIABA members' current access to Caliper's employee-assessment tools. Further, IIABA said it also plans to conduct a joint research project to study the profiles of the top producers and service professionals in the independent agency system.
"IIABA and Caliper have enjoyed a 30-year business relationship that has yielded both financial benefits and positive results for thousands of our independent agency members," said Paul Buse, president of IIABA's for-profit operation.
