Fraser Is Keynoter At NAAIA Conference
NU Online News Service, Sept. 3, 9:17 a.m. EDT?Author and motivational speaker George Fraser will be the feature speaker at the National African-American Insurance Association 2003 National Conference and Empowerment Summit, to be held Sept. 19 to 21 in Las Vegas.
Mr. Fraser is the author of the book "Success Runs In Our Race: The Complete Guide to Effective Networking in the African American Community."
NAAIA's conference will feature five specialized workshops. The topics include utilizing captive insurance companies for difficult-to-place risk in today's hard market; the essential elements of running a growing, profitable agency; career opportunities in marketing financial services products; how national and local community-insurance partnerships within the NeighborWorks system have focused successfully on urban and low-to-moderate income markets; and ways to grow insurance business by focusing on emerging profitable business opportunities in urban, inner-city and diverse markets.
