American Wholesale Opens In Chicago
NU Online News Service, Sept. 2, 11:05 a.m. EDT?American Wholesale Insurance Group said it has opened a new wholesale brokerage operation in Chicago. The unit is to be led by Don Alberico, the Charlotte, N.C.-based firm said.
The company said Mr. Alberico, president of the new operation named AmWINS Brokerage of Illinois, has more than 17 years of wholesale brokerage experience including five years as a senior vice president with Aon's Swett & Crawford.
Steven DeCarlo, president and chief executive officer of American Wholesale, said the opening of the Chicago office is part of the firm's plan for expansion into the Midwest market.
