Acordia Buys Omaha LTC Agency
NU Online News Service, Aug. 29, 11:47 a.m. EDT?Chicago-based insurance broker Acordia Inc. has acquired Care Insurance Services, headquartered in Omaha, Neb.
Care Insurance Services provides risk management solutions for long term care facilities primarily in the Midwest.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Acordia said that the acquisition more than doubles the firm's presence in Omaha.
Care Insurance Services has served clients in Nebraska and Iowa since 1986. The agency will be combined with the Acordia office in Omaha.
Acordia is a subsidiary of San Francisco-based financial services company Wells Fargo & Co.
