Gallagher Expands Presence in Massachusetts
NU Online News Service, July 25, 3:12 p.m. EDT?Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. said this week it has purchased Wellesley, Mass.-based Andrew-Anthony Insurance Agency Inc. Terms were not announced.
Founded in 1991, Andrew-Anthony Insurance Agency is a full-service retail insurance broker that offers management and commercial property-casualty insurance services to their clients across the United States. The firm specializes in insurance products for the real estate, financial and leisure industries.
The staff from Andrew-Anthony is expected to merge with A.J. Gallagher's Braintree, Mass., office. The new unit will be led by John Stancik, Northeast regional manager of A.J. Gallagher's brokerage services business.

Patrick Gallagher Jr., president and chief executive officer at Itasca, Ill.-headquartered A.J. Gallagher.
