ARCH Names Iordanou President, CEO
NU Online News Service, July 14, 11:35 a.m. EDT?Arch Capital Group Ltd., of Hamilton, Bermuda, announced today that Constantine "Dinos" Iordanou will be its president and chief executive officer, effective Aug. 1.
Mr. Iordanou will succeed Peter Appel, one of Arch Capital's founders, who will remain on the company's board of directors. He will work closely with Paul Ingrey, chairman of arch Worldwide Insurance and Reinsurance Group, and Robert Clements, chairman of Arch Capital Group Ltd., the company said.
Mr. Appel said in a statement that Mr. Iordanou was well-suited to lead the company's global insurance and reinsurance operations. "He has done an extraordinary job in building our insurance operations, and his strong leadership skills and deep understanding of the industry will serve Arch well."
