Travelers, Rackley Set New Program

NU Online News Service, Feb. 25, 4:16 p.m. EST? Rackley Systems, Inc., an insurance software and rating services supplier, based in Pulaski, Tenn., announced it has developed a personal lines auto insurance integration program with Travelers Property Casualty, Hartford, Conn.

"Rackley for Windows Personal Auto" rating is now available to work with Travelers' systems in Alabama and Tennessee. The integration technology is soon to be available throughout the rest of the United States, the company said.

The new rating system is designed to increase efficiency by eliminating re-entry of data. The integration bridge allows electronic data transfer from "Rackley for Windows" comparative desktop to Travelers' Internet-based automation system for policy quote, rate and issuance, called ATLAS3.

Clyde Fitch, president of agency operations for Travelers personal lines said the integration is part of the continuing effort by the company to provide agents with the tools to spend less time on service and more time on sales. This, in turn, would help agents improve their profitability and long-term growth.

Mark Stroop, executive vice president of Rackley Systems added that the integration would streamline workflow between ?Rackley for Windows' rating and Travelers ATLAS3."

Additional information for agents is available through Travelers Agency Automation Support at 800-243-1334 or their local marketing representative. Agents can also call Rackley Customer Service at 800-874-2616.
