B&B Acquires Calif. Agency
NU Online News Service, Feb. 18, 11:06 a.m. EST?Insurance broker Brown & Brown announced the acquisition of J.C. Whilt & Company, Insurance Service Inc., of Santa Barbara Calif.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Daytona Beach, Fla.-based Brown & Brown said the agency, with $2.5 in annual revenue, is a multi-line commercial insurance agency serving the property-casualty, employee benefits and personal insurance needs of Central California's residents and businesses.
The broker said that J.C. Whilt would combine with an existing Santa Barbara, Calif., Brown & Brown office, MFC&V Insurance Services.
