Aon CFO To Retire

NU Online News Service, Jan 10, 11:25 a.m. EST?Aon Corp. announced today that Harvey N. Medvin, the Chicago-based insurance broker's chief financial officer, would retire in April of this year.

David P. Bolger, 45, will succeed Mr. Medvin.

Aon said that Mr. Medvin, 66, would continue to work with the firm to assist in the transition.

Mr. Medvin joined Aon in 1972 when it was the Ryan Insurance Group Inc., where he was a corporate officer and member of the board of directors. He became CFO in 1982, when Combined International Corp. merged with Ryan Insurance. The firm was renamed Aon in 1987.

Mr. Bolger is currently executive vice president of finance and administration. Aon said he has more than 20 years of executive financial experience.
