S.I.S. Debuts SEMCI Partner
Gahanna, Ohio-based Strategic Insurance Software Inc. announced the new release of their SEMCI Partner version 6.0.
Nolan Davis, systems supervisor at S.I.S., said, "Release 6.0 has many new features that our clients will really enjoy. Heading the list of enhancements is the new Web-Link feature which allows SEMCI Partner clients to seamlessly interact with company Web sites."
SEMCIsingle-entry multiple-company interfaceis a software system that allows multiple-company applications from a single form.
The vendor said it set out to solve an industry-wide annoyance that agency principals, producers and customer service representatives voiced in the recently completed AUGIE surveyhaving to leave their agency management systems to log onto company sites and re-enter policy information.
The new format allows agencies to access a policyholders rating, changes, claims and billing lookups on company Web sites.
S.I.S. says it focuses on developing agency management software that helps independent agents and the insurance carriers they represent transact business as simply and efficiently as possible.
