PIA Northeast Updates Web Site

NU Online News Service, Dec. 12, 2:20 p.m. ?Agents can do one-stop shopping for continuing education courses on the redesigned Web page of the Professional Insurance Agents of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and New Hampshire, the group said.

The Glenmont, N.Y-based organization said its education Web page has a new sorting ability that allows the courses to be arranged by continuing education credits, class types, special classes and region for New York state students.

More information is on the site, which has been revamped to make it easier to navigate the expansive course selection, the group said.

According to the association, the site has a wide assortment of education classes and seminars to meet independent insurance agents' certification needs.

Individuals can register for classes directly from the schedule listing. This more user-friendly system allows members to locate the specific classes they need and conveniently register for them via the Internet, the association said.

Directions to the education venues are listed online and the site is updated daily.

Last month, phase one of the site's renovations were completed, the group said. The homepages for each state were given an updated look and more functional navigation.

The multifaceted main PIA site accesses each of the four state associations' home pages and showcases all the products and services offered by each organization. PIA said it will continue to update each of its Web pages to adjust to the newly created look.

The four state association Web site is www.piaonline.org.

A new educational schedule can be found at http://www.piaonline.org/EDU/.
