Marsh Names New CFO
NU Online News Service, Dec. 6, 1:10 p.m. EST?Insurance broker Marsh, Inc. has announced the appointment of Jerome H. Bailey as chief financial officer.
The announcement came in a statement from Ray J. Groves, president of Marsh, a subsidiary of Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc., based in New York City.
Mr. Bailey succeeds Joseph D. Salerno, who is retiring, the firm said.
Mr. Bailey was executive vice president and chief financial officer of Dow Jones, Inc., which publishes The Wall Street Journal and numerous other financial publications. He also served as chief financial officer at Salomon Inc.; managing director and controller for Morgan Stanley; and was a partner with Price Waterhouse.
Mr. Bailey is a graduate of the University of Nebraska.
