Sherman Named As SRMC President
NU Online News Service, Oct. 10, 1:24 p.m. EST?The Society of Risk Management Consultants announced that Jill A. Sherman is the group's new president.
Ms. Sherman, a risk management consultant with the Milwaukee, Wis.-based T.E. Brennan Company, was installed for a one-year term as president at the Society's annual convention in San Diego, Calif., last week.
Ms. Sherman has been a member of the risk management organization since 1995 and has served as past secretary.
The Milwaukee-based Society of Risk Management Consultants said it counts nearly 700 members. Society members adhere to a strict code of ethics, which requires fee-only compensation and precludes affiliation with an insurance company, agency or brokerage firm, the company said.
