N.Y. CPCUs To Honor Superintendent Serio

NU Online News Service, Oct. 16, 2:43 p.m. EST?The New York Chapter of the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter Society will honor their state's insurance superintendent at a luncheon conferring the CPCU credential on 24 persons.

The new designees and Superintendent Gregory V. Serio will be recognized Nov. 8 at the New York Marriott Brooklyn

Two dozen professionals who earned their CPCU designation this year will receive their designation from Terrie E. Troxel, CPCU, president and chief executive officer of the American Institute for CPCU and the Insurance Institute of America, the group said.

The society said it was honoring Mr. Serio for his service in support of the industry, its people and the more than 1,000 CPCUs who work in the state.

Tickets for the luncheon and cocktail hour are $80 for members of the CPCU Society or $90 for non-members.
