AIA, Withya Announce e-Partnership
NU Online News Service, Aug 26, 12:20 p.m. EST?Withya, the Internet technology firm and the American Insurance Association today announced the formation of a new strategic alliance.
Under this arrangement, Withya becomes AIA's exclusive e-learning partner, providing member insurers with resources for e-learning needs, according to the Washington, D.C.-based AIA.
"Withya seeks to team up with industry leaders?and AIA is the leading property-casualty association," said Varun Talwar, Withya chief executive officer. "This partnership will no doubt add further value and quality to our insurance e-learning solutions."
The partnership coincides with the launch of Withya's WISE Insurance Solutions division, the AIA said. This division is responsible for accommodating insurance industry clients' specific training needs. Withya creates customized solutions for insurance e-learning?from continuing education courses to computer-based tutorials on insurance products and policies.
"We are very pleased to be working exclusively with Withya, which provides leading-edge e-learning technology and content," noted Carlos Munoz, AIA senior vice president of Finance and Administration.
Mr. Munoz said the partnership will allow property-casualty insurance companies of all sizes "to more efficiently educate their workforce on key issues? a 'must do' in today's highly competitive, fast-paced insurance marketplace."
