AAIS Launches Web-Based Seminars
NU Online News Service, Aug. 7, 9:55 a.m. EST?The American Association of Insurance Services announced it will launch a new service of Web-based seminars with a presentation on AAIS commercial liability endorsements that addresses mold and construction defects.
For its inaugural seminar on Aug. 28, the association said, insurance professionals will be able to see and hear a slide presentation free of charge over their own computers or telephones. The interactive event will allow online "attendees" to ask questions and participate in discussion.
"AAIS is developing this new service to expand the amount of information available to our customers and enhance our value as a product development resource," said Paul Baiocchi, president.
The half-hour seminar will feature Deborah Summerlin, AAIS vice president of insurance lines, and Janice Nieman, manager of commercial liability, describing a recent filing of 25 endorsements for use with AAIS artisans, businessowners, commercial liability and commercial umbrella programs, the association said.
AAIS is a national advisory organization whose policy forms and rating information are used by more than 600 property-casualty insurers.
The seminar is scheduled for 10 a.m. CDT, Aug. 28. Additional information is available at www.AAISonline.com
