PIA Service Reps Awards Given
NU Online News Service, July 9, 3:49 p.m. EST? The Professional Insurance Agents Association of Connecticut, New Jersey and New York, in Glenmont, N.Y., announced the selection of the Outstanding Customer Service Representative of the Year from each of the three states by their state associations.
Receiving awards were:
? Kimberly Tompkins, commercial lines customer service representative with Associated Insurance Agencies in Hamden, Conn.
? Janet Stiles, senior customer service representative with Commerce National Insurance Services Inc. in Cherry Hill, N.J.
? Teresa Patterson, personal lines account executive with The Morley Agency Inc. in Southhampton, N.Y.
The award is sponsored by the Society of Customer Insurance Service Representatives headquartered in Austin, Texas. It is given to the individual representative who has shown distinction as a leader "by consistently providing quality service and enhancing their agencies, communities and industry groups," the agent association said.
Each of the state recipients will receive a certificate of achievement and be nominated for the National Outstanding Customer Service Representative of the Year award. The national winner receives a $1,000 cash award, a gold and diamond pin, and a scholarship award in the customer representative's name to their agency.
