Brit Firm Expands To North America
NU Online News Service, June 8, 4:15 p.m. EST?WNS Holdings, Ltd., a business process outsourcing company based in Mumbai, India, announced the acquisition today of insurance claims management company Town & Country Assistance of Ipswich, England.
The company said WNS resources would be used to expand Town & Country operations into North America.
Town & Country specializes in the administration of automobile insurance claims and related services. Theodore Agnew, founder and executive chairman, will remain with Town & Country in the same capacity. He is to appointed to the WNS management committee.
The service provider will continue operations from its current location, with plans to expand into North America through WNS current clients, who include insurers, pharmaceutical and market research companies, and British Airways, among other airlines.
Terms of the acquisition were not released.
