AIA Partners To Post Comp Info

NU Online News Service, July 9, 2:41 p.m. EST?The American Insurance Association and WorkersCompensation.com, LLC, announced a new partnership today to put workers' compensation regulatory information on the Internet.

The information about workers' compensation legislative activity, regulatory changes and existing state statutes will be generated by Washington, D.C.-based AIA.

WorkersCompensation.com will offer subscription services, based on AIA information, to users (including non-AIA members) through a new offering called "infoNation" on the WorkersCompensation.com Web site, according to AIA.

AIA said it monitors the workers' compensation operating environment in all 50 state and federal jurisdictions, analyzing legal and regulatory modifications in real time.

WorkersCompensation.com services was designed to enable comp providers, employers and other interested parties to respond to important marketplace changes in a timely manner, AIA said.

"We view this partnership as an ideal business relationship," said Robert H. Wilson, president of WorkersCompensation.com. AIA's data collection and delivery technologies complement WorkersCompensation.com "as a service provider to all participants in the workers' compensation industry."

AIA President Robert E. Vagley also expressed enthusiasm for the partnership. "This new alliance will provide the millions of WorkersCompensation.com visitors with regular e-mail alerts each time workers' comp-related bills are introduced, as well as other key information," he explained. "It's simply a great opportunity for all involved."
