IIA Picks New Board Heads
NU Online News Service, June 28, 12:34 p.m. EST?William H. Bolinder has been elected chairman of the Insurance Institute of America and the American Institute for Chartered Property And Casualty Underwriters.
The Malvern, Pa.-based group also announced the election of a new vice chairman and board members.
Mr. Bolinder is a member of the Group Management Board, Zurich Financial Services, headquartered in Schaumburg, Ill.
John J. Degnan, president of The Chubb Corporation, based in Warren, N.J., was elected vice chairman of the board.
The organization also announced the election of 11 new trustees. The annual meeting, held last week in Chicago, was hosted by retiring chairman Vincent J. Trosino, Sr., president, vice chairman, and chief operating officer, State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company based in Bloomington, Ill.
