Acordia Acquires Tenn. Broker
NU Online News Service, April 4, 10:07 a.m. EST?Insurance broker Acordia, Inc. in Chicago, Ill. announced the acquisition of Risk Management Services, Inc., of Morristown, Tenn.
Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. The deal was completed the end of last year, Acordia said in a statement. The company said an announcement of the transaction was delayed because of a reorganization in its communications unit.
Risk Management Services is a property-casualty insurance broker serving clients in Eastern Tennessee since 1951. The firm will continue to service clients from its current location.
Acordia is a subsidiary of Wells Fargo & Co., headquartered in San Francisco
