Heffernan Announces Acquisition
NU Online News Service, March 11, 3:59 p.m. EST?The Heffernan Group of insurance brokers announced the acquisition today of DeWolf Insurance Agency of San Rafael, Calif.
DeWolf specializes in small commercial business and personal insurance lines. Under the terms of the deal, DeWolf will transfer its clients to Heffernan Insurance Brokers, a member of the Walnut Creek, Calif. based- Heffernan Group.
Heffernan said the acquisition strengthens its presence in Sonoma County, Calif. The firm's office provides insurance services to a diverse group of emerging and established industries within the area.
The office also serves as the primary service center for the firm's Personal Insurance division.
