Evans To Head CICA Board
NU Online news Service, March 11, 3:51 p.m. EST?Michael B. Evans has been elected chairman of the Captive Insurance Companies Association for 2002-2003, the organization announced today.
Mr. Evans is chief executive officer and president of Sutter Insurance Services Corporation, Sacramento, Calif.
Others elected were, Richard Hamilton, president and general manager, CSX Insurance Company, Burlington, Vermont, vice chairman;Daniel Labrie, Housing Authority risk retention group, Cheshire, Conn., secretary-treasurer.
New Board members elected were,Pamela Barit Nolan, Wellington Management Company, LLP, Boston, Mass.;Jerry Sams, controller, Central Arkansas Nursing Centers Inc., Fort Smith, Ark.; Terry Young, president, Selective Industrial Insurance Group Ltd., Gadsden, Ala.
Installation of the officers and directors took place last week at the Minneapolis-based organization's annual International Conference in Tucson, Ariz.
