B&B Renames TPA 'United Benefits'
NU Online News Service, Feb. 6, 9:43 a.m. EST?Insurance broker Brown and Brown has announced that Brown and Brown Benefits, a third party administrator processing health claims for self-insured employers, has been renamed United Benefits, Inc.
The firm said the change reflected the expanding operations and geographical reach of the specialty unit.
United Benefits and its staff will continue to operate from the broker's corporate headquarters in Daytona Beach, Fla. The TPA serves large employers throughout the United States, with particular focus on Florida and the Southeast.
