Aon Names P-C Lines President
NU Online News Service, Feb. 25, 12:30 p.m. EST?Chicago-based insurance broker Aon Corp. announced that F. Marshall Turner was named president, property?casualty for Combined Specialty Corporation.
Mr. Turner has more than 20 years experience in the insurance industry with a variety of global p-c carriers, Aon said in a statement. Most recently, he was responsible for managing specialty businesses including property, inland marine, specialty casualty, excess casualty, affinity markets and specialty programs.
In 2001, Aon announced plans to spin-off its underwriting operations to be named Combined Specialty Corporation. The spin-off is scheduled for spring 2002.
Mr. Turner will be based in Atlanta, reporting to Dennis B. Reding, chief executive officer of Combined.
