Employee Training Critical To Loss Control
To facilitate the employee education process, senior management should:
Communicate clear worksite safety and disaster recovery policies that support employee protection and loss control efforts. This includes educating employees on how to protect themselves and developing hazard reporting and equipment maintenance systems.
Establish clear goals and objectives for the team, and ensure that all employees are involved in developing goals and can explain desired results and measurements.
Encourage all employees to understand the program, their emergency planning and preparation responsibilities, and what performance is expected of them.
Maintain accountability to employees and other stakeholders who trust you to act on their behalf.
