E-commerce software developer Allfinanz has unleashed xpertBridge, software that allows distributors of insurance, investment, and other financial services products, to take advantage of multiple channels-agents and brokers, call centers, and the Net.
XpertBridge was designed to streamline the sales process, according to Allfinanz, and bring it to the point of sale. The agent, broker, or call center rep with laptop and Internet connection can close a fully underwritten transaction in fewer than 25 minutes.
The customizable software presents a series of questions that branch out based on the applicant's response. As data are input, the software analyzes and logs responses, then formulates a firm offer of coverage in minutes. Meanwhile, automated underwriting and approval processes help ensure coverage by the time the customer walks out the door.
Allfinanz CEO Jim Maher said: "Up to 75 percent of potential customers drop out of the insurance buying process between receipt of the initial premium estimate and the policy actually being underwritten. Allfinanz software gives agents, calls center representatives, and brokers a powerful tool to capture that business."
