The Pennsylvania Insurance Department published a notice informing insurers of a data call for private passenger automobile policies. The data call is conducted annually to monitor the marketplace.

This data call has four parts and must be submitted by October 15, 2025. Parts 1 and 2 must be completed by any insurer with Pennsylvania private passenger automobile direct written premium in 2024. Insurers that have no direct written premium in 2024 only need to submit Part 2.

Parts 3 and 4 must be completed by the twenty largest insurance companies in the state based on the 2024 private passenger automobile direct written premium. The Department will use the aggregated data to perform loss ratio analyses based on zip code. Any data submitted will be kept confidential.
