Appulate, Inc., a provider of forms conversion technology for the property & casualty sector of the insurance industry has launched a new product, LossRunner F2X, that converts loss run forms (received via fax or email) into data.

"F2X" refers to the product's ability to read forms and convert them into XML. LossRunner F2X is designed to reduce internal data entry and streamline back-office processing of loss runs.

"LossRunner F2X takes advantage of the work we have been doing for the last seven years in building the most advanced solution for converting insurance forms to XML," says Dimitri Nikouline, co-founder and CTO at Appulate.

Appulate is best known for its FormsReader A2X, which reads and converts ACORD forms to XML. Demand for this product increased significantly over the last 12 months as insurance carriers battle an increase in applications as a result of an improved economy. The company now looks to provide additional cost / time savings to its customers in the processing of loss runs.

"The processing of loss runs has long been a burden on insurance carriers and is a problem that we are positioned to help solve," says Nikouline.
