Workers' Compensation Reinsurance Association (WCRA) and Tropics Software Technologies announce that WCRA has selected Tropics to create their new reinsurance systems. Tropics will use its latest generation of workers' compensation processing software, Tropics Breeze, as a base to create a specialized reinsurance system, including actuarial processes, to be used by WCRA. Tropics will also add this system to its product line for sale to other workers' compensation excess carriers.

Following the devastation of Superstorm Sandy, ROM Reinsurance, located in downtown Manhattan, reached out to Hyland Software to see how they could work together to get its systems back up and running. ROM was able to switch its ECM deployment from the on-premises solution to Hyland's cloud-based solution, OnBase Online and regained business functionality to access information and support clients after the storm.

The Phoenix Companies purchased Jahia Extended Content Management from Jahia to create an advanced intranet portal for its independent advisors, agents, and brokers. Phoenix seeks to manage the firm's multiple websites using a single solution and platform, integrate with a variety of best-of-breed applications used by most insurance companies, and build its own applications and business solutions much faster than other options allow.

Haverford Holdings Limited, a provider of property & casualty insurance and reinsurance, has licensed Sapiens IDIT Software Suite from Sapiens International Corp., as their centralized solution throughout its group of insurance companies.  The new platform will allow Haverford to blend the policy administration processes via a centralized platform, facilitate business development by easy launch of new products, improve customer satisfaction by implementing operational excellence, and reduce IT costs.

Florida Peninsula Insurance has chosen the electronic signing and management technology from eSignSystems, a division of Wave Systems Corp. Florida Peninsula's will be able to offer independent agents and consumer policy holders the ability to review, sign, and administrate policies remotely. FPI also benefits from full electronic capture and access to documents, streamlining compliance and ensuring fast response when policyholders file claims.

Legal & General America, Inc., announced the successful "go live" of an enterprise-wide solution automating insurance workflow processes from DocPoint Solutions, Inc.
