Donard Reilly joined New Empire Group as senior vice president. He will also head the newly-formed Inland Marine Dept. Reilly has more than 25 years of inland marine experience; 13 of those years were spent as owner of inland marine MGAs, including Mainland Specialty.
Fireman's Fund appointed Jay Dipasupil to vice president of programs and Dan Reed to vice president of professional liability. Dipasupil has more than 25 years of industry experience and will be responsible for providing strategic and operational direction and achieving profitable growth. Reed has previously managed teams responsible for lawyers' professional liability, accountants' professional liability and E&O for real estate professionals, insurance agents and brokers. He will manage the professional liability line of business and drive profitable growth.
Max West was welcomed to Aon Risk Solutions' Chicago office as senior vice president. He will specialize in customizing, negotiating and placing environmental insurance for developers, lenders, owners, sellers and more.
NBIS added Henry Butler to the company as vice president of underwriting. He will oversee the management, development and execution of underwriting strategies and objectives, focusing on building customer relationships, balancing all relevant factors including profit targets, effectively using resources, people, systems, risks and strategic and operational goals.
Nichole Ritz joined The Institues as director of member knowledge for the CPCU Society. She has experience assessing member needs and providing multiple strategies specific to knowledge management, acquisition, engagement and retention. Ritz previously developed and supported complex membership initiatives for the Project Management Institute.
Markel named Brendan Falvey director of its public entity product line for the West region. He comes to the company with more than 30 years of property-casualty insurance and reinsurance experience and most recently handled property-casualty underwriting for a global reinsurer.
