Roger Maxted and John Greene joined JLT as partners. Tracy Miller also joined as insurance company industry specialist. Miller comes from Chubb Insurance, where she was recently senior underwriter for the company's financial institutions. Maxted was most recently a director for the claims division of Arthur J. Gallagher. Greene was previously an account executive at Marsh after HSBC Insurance Solutions was purchased by the company in 2009.

USG Insurance Services added two new producer/brokers as part of the expansion of its California operations. Joyce Chambers has more than 20 years of industry experience and previously worked for Cascade General Agency as an underwriter and office manager. Angi Van Zanten was recently employed by J. L. Von Arx & Assoc. as a commercial underwriter.

Barry Floyd was named CFO at Paul Davis Restoration Inc. Floyd is a Florida certified public accountant and has been with Paul Davis since 2000; in the past he has served as controller and director of franchisee accounting for the company.

Guy Carpenter appointed Jim Chambers as senior vice president. He will be responsible for managing and serving customers in Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin. Chambers will support the company's advisory capabilities in the regional property-casualty insurance market.

Bob Jones was chosen to head Marsh's office in Grand Rapids, Mich. He succeeds Matt Wey, who has transitioned to head of the company's Cleveland, Ohio office. Jones is a Grand Rapids native and has served Marsh for 18 years in various roles with both regional and national responsibilities.

Kaufman Financial Group welcomed Robert M. Parker as vice president of product development. He has experience in standard and specialty lines and has focused on new product development, underwriting and marketing. At Kaufman, he will develop new programs for Burns & Wilcox, RB Jones and Atain Insurance Cos.

Project CAP launched Agency 2020, a new program dedicated to providing independent agencies with insights and resources to help them create a broad vision for building agency success well into the future. Each month the program will spotlight a key element of a successful independent agency and provide free resources to select agencies. A grand prize winner will get several compiimentary services and additional runner-up agencies will recieve individual services. All member agencies of IIABA are eligible to win and can complete an application here.
