Fireman's Fund Insurance Co. appointed Michelle Impey to fine art director, personal insurance. She will focus on sharing information with agents, brokers and policyholders on current fine art and private collections market trends. Impey previously served 11 years as senior fine art specialist for the Eastern territory for Chubb Group of Insurance Cos. 

Bob O'Leary was named CEO of Philadelphia Insurance Cos. Sean S. Sweeney, previous CEO, is stepping down for personal reasons. O'Leary currently serves as the company's executive vice president and chief marketing officer. His insurance career began in 1977 as an industrial sales representative for American Mutual Insurance Co. 

Hanover Stone Partners chose two veteran industry executives to be its senior risk advisors. Barbara Casanova builds on Hanover's expertise in captives. Edward J. Molloy brings more than 40 years of finance, insurance and technical risk management experience to the company.

John Kuehn joined AmWINS Brokerage of Illinois as vice president last October, bringing with him more than 25 years of industry experience. Matt McCue joined AmWINS Program Underwriters as an associate managing director working in Camp Hill, Pa., where he will work with the AmeriComp program. Gina McGee joined AmWINS Insurance Brokerage of California as a vice president focused on casualty production. Lynn Hopkins joined the Michigan brokerage as vice president. Matt Wasta joined AmWINS Program Uderwriters at its new Farmington, Conn. office along with Amanda Fioretti, assistant vice presdient. 

Aon Risk Solutions hired Cherie Pikelis as senior account executive and Nicholas Moskos as risk consultant to its Pittsburgh office. Pikelis has more than 30 years of personal lines experience in the Pittsburgh area. Moskos will develop new business and service Aon's Private Risk Management clients. 

Stephanie Bush and Rick Newell were chosen to fill senior leadership positions within The Hardford's Small Commerical segment. Bush, who returns from Travelers where she served as senior vice president of product management for personal insurance after a 20-year career with The Hartford, was named senior vice president of chief product and underwriting officer. Newell, a 29-year industry veteran, was named vice president and head of Small Commercial sales. 

The American College elected Thomas P. Tooley to its board of trustees. Tooley is senior vice president and head of insurance solutions distribution at Lincoln Financial Distributors Inc., where he is responsible for leading distribution initiatives associated with Lincoln's life insurance and executive benefits business. 

Joseph Kem was named senior vice president of Houston Internation Insurance Group's underwriting division, HIIG Energy, responsible for oil & gas operations based in the Dallas, Texas office. 

 

New Programs

TMLT added employee practices liability to all policies at no extra premium. The liability covers lawsuits caused by several employment-related events such as harassment, discrimination, FMLA violations, hostile work environments and wrongful termination. Limits are $50,000 per claim with a $5,000 deductible.

Anne-Marie Slaughter, professor of politics and international affairs at Princeton and author of The Atlantic's controversial 2012 article “Why Women Still Can't Have It All,” will serve as keynote speaker for IICF's inaugural Women in Insurance Global Conference (WIGC). The conference will be held in New York from June 12-14, 2013.
