Alyssa Kresge was chosen to fill the position of senior account administrator for Ames & Gough. She will support the firm's placement team for coverage lines related to architect and engineer's professional liability.
Wells Fargo Insurance announced the appointment of Kevin Ishizu to the division's professional risk group. As senior vice president of the group, he will lead sales and services for its D&O product line. Prior to this appointment, Ishizu was a senior managing director at Carpenter Moore.
Geoff Haver joined New Day Underwriting Managers as vice president in the construction insurance division. Haver has more than 24 tears of commercial casualty, professional risk and environmental experience as well as a specialization in contaminated property transactions and contractural risk transfer for contractors.
Zurich North America named Dalynn Hoch its new CFO. Hoch succeeds Vibhu Sharma, who will take on the role of group controller at Zurich's Switzerland headquarters. Hoch joined Zurich in 2009 as head of the North American Commercial's financial planning & performance management team.
Matthew Nielsen was promoted to vice president of commercial claims at Founders Insurance Co. He will oversee a unit of claims managers and analysts and provide direction for working with commerical policyholders.
Lockton expanded its global financial services team with the addition of Michael Born. Born joins the company as vice president and will provide expertise in data security, privacy liability, media and specialty E&O insurance.

Markel announced updates to its IT Professional policy, which will now include:
- Basic professional liability
- DataBreach (configurable first and third party data privacy and security coverage)
- General liability
- Media injury option.
Allied World Assurance Co. launched an Accountable Care Organization Liability Solution in response to emerging payment/care delivery healthcare models. The policy is flexible enough to allow an insured to customize it without fear of enlarging risks.
NIP Programs introduced IrrigationPro, a specialty program targeting contractors providing irrigation and pesticide application for lawns, crops and golf courses. It will be managed under the popular SitePro program.

The American College celebrated a $2.5 million gift from Cary M. and Ann Maguire by dedicating the Cary M. Maguire Center for Ethics in Financial Services. The center will be the only academic building in the nation devoted exclusively to addressing moral dilemmas in the financial industry.
David Allen Walker was installed as IIABA's vice chairman at it's recent Leadership Conference in Atlanta, Ga. He is president of Hartland Insurance Agency in Hartland, Mich. and has been an industry member since 1979.
Three final winners for this year's Entrepreneurial Insurance Award winners were chosen by members of the Entrepreneurial Insurance Alliance: AIG won for its RepuationGuard solution, ProspX was recognized for its ProspX InsiderConnect and Stealth Marketing won for its video management system and analytics engine.

It will be available in both paperback and ebook formats and will provide valuable information to educate and assist home buyers in the homeowners insurance process.
