The Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS) is offering two fall webinars for risk professionals seeking to expand their knowledge of the industry's most current topics.

On October 4, instructor Jeremy Burns, a Burns Loew attorney, will be teaching Social Media and Cloud Computing Discovery. The course covers how data used by social media websites and cloud computing services may be used in litigation as defined by Federal and State laws and how to obtain it. The online session runs from 1:00pm to 2:00pm ET.

On November 14, ERM for Non-Corporate Entities: YMCA Case Study will exemplify how a large, non-corporate entity has implemented an objectives-based ERM program to find opportunities to better serve both stakeholders and shareholders. The course is held 1:00pm to 2:00pm ET. Panelists include Sim Segal, president of SimErgy Consulting; Nancy Owens, director of finance and controller of the YMCA of the USA; and Karyn Boston, chief compliance officer and associate general counsel of the YMCA of the USA.

Webinars are free for RIMS members and $30 for non-members. Students may register online at the RIMS professional development website.
