Risk Control Technologies Launches RC Inspection Version 4

Risk Control Technologies Inc., a provider of loss control software solutions for insurers, announces that version 4 of RC Inspection has been deployed in production.

The latest version includes features that will allow insurers using RC Inspection to streamline their loss control processes.  In addition to a complete user interface refresh, version 4 includes the following enhancements:

• Integration with the Google Maps API for geo-coding and multiple location mapping
• Introduction of an iPad/iOS version of the RC Inspection tablet field application
• Multiple photo upload to allow users to easily bulk add a large number of survey photos
• Additional recommendation management tools including an automated recommendation follow up and reminder feature
• Configurable automated survey assignment rules using any request parameter
• Addition of an ad-hoc reporting tool which allows data-mining and extracts on all data elements within a survey

RC Inspection is used to manage loss control operations.  The product is an end-to-end loss control solution, which manages all aspects of field surveys and service for insurers.  The system enables insurers to equip field staff with tablet devices, loaded with the RC inspection field application in order to collect risk data, photos, recommendations and diagrams in the field, even in locations without wireless broadband connections. 

Once data is collected in the field, it is then uploaded into a central database which allows underwriters to utilize the information in making underwriting decisions.  This central data repository also offers data mining and reporting capabilities which have traditionally been unavailable in the paper-based loss control environment in which most insurers operate. RC Inspection is a web-based solution that is available to insurers to install on-premises, or on a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) basis by Risk Control Technologies, leveraging cloud technologies.
