Decision Research Corporation (DRC), a rating and policy processing software provider for the p&c insurance industry, announces the release of an all-new claims solution for DecisionMaker Suite.

DecisionMaker Claims is built on Microsoft's .NET framework and includes features such as access management, automated check writing, and a claims dashboard for real time access to day-to-day management of claims status and payments. The solution's role-based access and automated check writing are fundamental to claims' business transformation.

The new claims solution also provides mobile access for iPhone and Android devices. Through DecisionMaker Mobile, carriers' customers are provided with 24/7 access to policy information, file a claim, and utilize location-based services to identify nearby body shops, rental agencies, or taxi services on the go.

DecisionMaker Claims provides claims adjusters with a portal to access and manage claims. Automated pre-fill of data, menus and hints, and pend and release functions, allow adjusters to escalate a claim without stoppage or handoff, thereby reducing administrative redundancy.

The new DecisionMaker Claims Solution may be implemented as a stand-alone module, or it can interface with any policy administration system for policy and coverage verification. DRC's new claims solution tops off DecisionMaker Suite with a claims framework that supports base claims functionality like FNOL, reserves, and payments for personal, commercial, and specialty lines.
